Past STP Symposia

STP 15 - 2022 VIRTUAL
Hosted by the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism.

SCOSTEP’s 15th Quadrennial Solar-Terrestrial Physics (STP-15) Symposium was held ONLINE on February 21-25, 2022.

The LOC Chair was Dr. S. Gurubaran of the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG). This symposium gathered eminent scientists from solar, magnetospheric, ionospheric, and atmospheric physics communities to discuss and deliberate on the cutting-edge sciences pertaining to STP.  STP-15 primarily addressed the predictability as a focus area in each of the traditional topics deliberated upon during the earlier STP meetings, namely, the mass and radiation chains and intra-atmospheric coupling. A workshop for young scientists (STEPSYS) took place one day before the symposium.
